Aspen Solutions Summer 2026: Technology, Talent and Major Events

With summer 2026 behind us, we’re taking the opportunity to look back on what has been an exciting and productive few months at Aspen Solutions.

From welcoming talented new people into the business to supporting major projects and events, this summer has highlighted the importance of reliable technology, strong partnerships and, above all, great people. At Aspen Solutions, we help organisations get more from their technology through dependable services, practical expertise and responsive support. From cloud-based solutions, cyber security, IT support and print management, Summer 2026 has been another excellent example of our teams putting those values into action.

Investing in the Next Generation of Technology Talent

One of the highlights of our summer was welcoming new talent to Aspen Solutions through the Saltire Scholars Programme. Bringing fresh perspectives, enthusiasm and new ideas to the business, our interns have had the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while gaining valuable real-world experience. Their work has included supporting initiatives across the organisation, contributing to technology and business improvement projects and gaining insight into the different areas that make Aspen Solutions tick.

Investing in people is an important part of our future. As technology continues to evolve, developing the next generation of talent will remain essential for businesses across the UK. Programmes such as Saltire Scholars provide an opportunity for ambitious young professionals to develop practical skills while enabling organisations like Aspen to benefit from fresh thinking and new perspectives.

Supporting Technology at Major Events

Summer 2026 also provided an opportunity for Aspen Solutions to demonstrate the importance of reliable technology and operational support on a much larger stage. We were incredibly proud to play a role behind the scenes at Glasgow 2026 for the Commonwealth Games.

Major events depend on a huge range of people, services and systems working together. While visitors and spectators experience everything happening in front of them, significant planning and technology infrastructure is required behind the scenes to help operations run smoothly. Our teams worked to support essential technology and print infrastructure, helping ensure that the right equipment, services and support were available when they were needed.

Delivering technology solutions in fast-moving environments requires more than simply providing equipment. It requires planning, coordination, technical expertise and the ability to respond quickly when circumstances change. That combination of technology and people is where Aspen Solutions continues to make a difference.

This also applied to the live outdoor concerts across Glasgow we worked on including; My Chemical Romance, Metallica & Take That.

Summer 2026 has been another reminder of the expertise, flexibility and commitment across the Aspen Solutions team.
