When the Commonwealth Games returned to Glasgow in 2026, Aspen Solutions was proud to play its part as an Official Supporter of both Glasgow 2026 and Team Scotland. With more than 3,000 athletes from 74 nations and territories competing across four venues over 11 days, the event required secure, reliable technology that could support a fast-paced, world-class sporting environment.

The Challenge – managing print across multiple Glasgow 2026 venues

In a major multi-sport event, secure and efficient document management is essential. Glasgow 2026 needed a solution that would keep critical information accessible across their competition and non-competition venues, without creating delays or disruption for those delivering the Games. With multiple stakeholders, venues and operational teams to support, the organisers required a trusted local partner with the experience, technical capability and on-site presence to keep services running smoothly throughout the event.

Aspen Solutions delivered a cloud-based managed print and document management solution connecting Glasgow 2026’s four competition venues:

• Scotstoun Stadium
• Scottish Event Campus (SEC)
• Tollcross International Swimming Centre
• Glasgow International Arena

The solution also extended to non-competition venues across the Games footprint. Aspen’s cloud based secure data and document services were provided across the whole games’ estate. Our technical teams were also on-site throughout the full 11 days, providing responsive IT support and helping ensure stakeholders could access the information they needed, when they needed it. By combining cloud technology with local service support, Aspen Solutions helped deliver a secure and reliable user experience across one of Scotland’s most high-profile sporting events.
