Microsoft will officially end support for Windows 10 on the 14th October 2025. After this date, devices running Windows 10 will no longer receive security updates, bug fixes, or technical support, leaving them increasingly vulnerable to cyber threats.
We’ve spoken to our team and pulled together a list of reasons and top tips why it’s best to get upgrading sooner than later to Windows 11.
- Enhanced Security: Windows 11 offers advanced security features like hardware-based isolation, encryption, and malware protection, providing a more secure environment compared to Windows 10.
- Modern User Interface: With a redesigned Start menu, centred taskbar, and improved window management, Windows 11 delivers a more intuitive and streamlined user experience.
- Improved Performance: Windows 11 includes performance optimisations, such as faster wake times and more efficient resource management, enhancing overall system responsiveness.
- Access To Latest Applications: Windows 11 supports new and updated applications that are not available on Windows 10, ensuring compatibility with the latest software developments. This includes the latest version of CoPilot, something our team and customers love using on a daily basis.
- Getting The Hardware You Want: We’ve already seen a surge in our customers ordering new kit and while we have access to the best equipment available, it’s smart to not delay when it comes to your requirements.
Upgrading now ensures that you remain secure and benefit from the latest features and improvement. Read more about Microsoft 11 here.
